Now that we have the carbon-components nicely re-factored in the trunk me and Sameera will be starting on getting the carbon-features updated for the trunk and integrate p2 for the products.
Basically the plan is this, Carbon features will go hand in hand with the carbon components. For a particular set of carbon-features will have its parent pom as the related carbon-component root pom. Therefore once you build a certain carbon-component you should be able to build the carbon-features related to that component. There will be certain features which will not be related to a single carbon-component or vice-versa, in which case we will need to think of a similar strategy to handle that without duplicating any properties. There are currently close to 180 features which we need to workout for the trunk. And we estimate it'll take about a week to finish. Therefore before we start it would be helpful if you can finalize bundles (i.e. import/export packages and introduction/removal of bundles) as much as possible unless under the circumstances it is not possible.
