There was a discussion, [1] in making this into some UI of the Gadget Server which will help people edit gadgets. I'm not certain of its existence. Also, you should be able to browse the registry, locate the corresponding gadget.xml and edit the source. But, you should be careful about any XML-escaped characters in the gadget.xml, due to [2]. A workaround is to download the resource content, edit it on a text editor and upload the changes. This can be done through the Registry Browser.
