Hi,
    Now I have created a Back-end component
-----org.wso2.carbon.student.mgt, by newing a UI Carbon Component in
the eclipse.
At the last step of newing a UI Carbon Component , it needs to
specify the "Deploy Path ". I just ignored it . Then I created a
simple java file, which could return "HelloWorld" , under the src
directory.
But under the META-INF directory,there should be a service.xml .
How to create the service.xml ?
Did I create the Back-end component correctly ?

Thanks!

Hi ,
I have downloaded the "Creating your own WSO2 Carbon components (PDF)".
I have learned that if I want to
create my own Carbon component ,I should create Back-end component and
the Front-end component.
How to create the BE and FE component by using the Carbon Studio ?
BE & FE components are basically bundles. Its a logical separation based on
whether the server which you are trying to deploy these bundles is a BE server
or FE server. If you are just starting to work with carbon components I suggest
you forget this separation of FE and BE for now and consider them as just
bundles to be deployed to a carbon server.

You can use carbon studio to create your own bundles as such and test as well.
To start with create a carbon UI Component. Please look at [1] on how to create
a Carbon UI Component/Bundle using carbon studio. Please ask if you unclear on
the steps.
