The solution is to add the following dependency to the site.xml. We've added this to Carbon core product site.xml. Will add it other products as well. <skin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.skins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-default-skin</artifactId> <version>1.0</version> </skin> But some components use the maven site plugin without a site.xml (org.wso2.carbon.registry.core) to generate the API docs. We couldn't find a proper solution in these situations yet. Will work on this.
