I just checked my record. I had another problem when tried UserPortal part, 
which was described in 

[Carbon-dev] UserPortal Errors in ShoppingCart in Carbon Studio

I didn't received any response for this issue. This issue stopped my further 
exploration, so I turned to other samples.

The fix for the issue related to PurchasingService on the ESB editor will go 
with 1.0.5 release. Other than the Gadget issue, were you able to completely 
cover other artifacts in the shopping-cart sample?
