[Carbon-dev] Reusing Spreadsheet Data Sources

it is required to read data (and schema) from spreadsheets for BAM's
new visualization tool.
I am currently using "Data Sources" component to access RDBMS, is it
possible to use same API's to access spreadsheets ?
if not what is the best way to reuse the Data Services' Implantation
of spreadsheet based data sources.
