Thanks Eric, your suggestion it works as advertised.

Just curious, though, why this command puts the cursor at the line
above the next paragraph, instead of the first line of the next
paragraph?

For example:

#1. This is an example paragraph. This is an example paragraph. This
is an example paragraph. This is an example paragraph. This is an
example paragraph. This is an example paragraph. This is an example
paragraph. This is an example paragraph. This is an example
paragraph. This is an example paragraph.

#2. This is an example paragraph. This is an example paragraph. This
is an example paragraph. This is an example paragraph. This is an
example paragraph. This is an example paragraph. This is an example
paragraph. This is an example paragraph.

When using the forward command with cursor positioned at #1, the
cursor jumps to the line in-between the two paragraphs. (Where you
would think it would jump to the beginning of the next paragraph.)

When using backward command, at the point where the forward command
placed the cursor in the first instance, the cursor jumps to the line
above the first paragraph, rather than the beginning of the first
paragraph.

I must be missing something here ...

Bill
