It is just the VCS branch nick name from which the snapshot for Alley was created from. Actually I had been asking Alley to check if GNU Emacs is correctly detected and if I recall it right it is, i.e. `vm-xemacs-p' is nil and `vm-fsfemacs-p' is t ... at least I hope.
