Let me make sure:
You tried the following three combinations.
At present, the problem happens only in C, right?

A. (1) emacs; previous version + (2) slime in the previous version
B. (1) emacs; current version + (2) slime in the previous version
C. (1) emacs; current version + (2) slime in the current version

Did you also try the beta?
