Sorry, I might not have explained it well. I made another video,

in which the OS X input method is initially US. I then start Emacs,
and open ~/.emacs, to show that it contains (set-keyboard-coding-
system 'utf-8). Then, in a scratch buffer, pressing C-\ switches the /
OS X/ input method to US Extended. Then I use C-x RET C-\ to select
another input method (Greek) within Emacs, and confirm that Greek
input works, then using C-\ brings me back into an English mode, and C-
\ continues to toggle between the two, but with no effect on the OS X
current keyboard/input.
