Dear Mr. Galloway, hello to all members, just ariving back from the care2x developer meeting Flensburg. I have to clear some things after that meeting. I set up 6 month ago a care2x education center based at php and MySQL. It's at an experimental base.
There is a libary included and you can pass examns. Inside there are areas for teachers and administration. You can make some courses and teachers can be interactive set up the courses. An example installation you find at http://care2x.de/ec/ One result of the care2x meeting was that the university of applied science of ULM use care2x in future as an example HIS to teach there students hospital information systems. I was also a speaker at the FFIT Congress this week. There are coming several nurse schools, education centers to get the care2x / conservix / knoppix CD. They got the CD for a first test. The CD can be remastered for individual needs (education, documents, archive). We are now at a validation process with it. At the moment own ~60 people the CD. So reviews go fast i hope. Keep in touch with me if you are interested.
