Hello

Easiest Solution would be to put the ppt file online, so those of us
without MS on their computer (maybe I am the only one) can open it with
OpenOffice.

Otherwise, you can always export a presentation from PowerPoint (or also
from OpenOffce) as html. This creates a folder with all html and jpg
files of your presentation. This can then be opened by anyone without
MSIE. 

And last but not least, you can export a presentation as pdf. OpenOffice
has that built in and for MS-Offise there is a nice solution:

(this offers almost the functionality of Acrobat - pdf creation with
bookmarks etc ...)
