It's hard to see this. Konqueror can't beat mozilla. Mozilla has a great future and has a great soon, Firefox.There are good reasons, because Mozilla will loose the fight against Microsoft Longhorn.

Some "political" infos: There is some fear, that Mozilla will in future no more in the distribution packages of Suse, Redhat, Mandrake and others included.
At the Moment in the Suse distribution Mozilla is not installed as standard. Only Konqueror!
agree.The kHTML-Rendering-Engine in Konqueror is responsible for viewing the html pages. Apples "Safari" is using the kHTML-Rendering-Engine as base. It is smaller and more easy to handle than Mozillas "Gecko".
Konqueror is just starting (they have future!), and will have a long way to become a true browser like mozilla.The Mozillas developement try to push their marketing into the direction of GUI-Frameworks like GNOME or Mono, the portationof the .NET-Frameworks to Linux.
i had some discussion with Brandan Eich, because i had some pain to use Mozilla as standard browser as i produced the Care2x CD. We arranged to speak personally at Linuxday. Together with the Konqueror team. To integrade Mozilla as standard browser to use for the CD is a realy heavy stuff. But it seems that Elpidio develope at the moment most time with mozilla. The Konqueror sucks with care2x.
For me mozilla (and firefox) are a good choose cause run on Linux, Mac and Windows, and konqueror not!

As i don't go to linuxtag as official care2x member, can Elpidio look forward to designate another person if it's interesting for him, that someone contact KDE, Gnome, Mozilla or other projects.
