Dear Daniel, yes, we are interested in "PubMed auf Deutsch", definitely.
To my opinion, we would need a translation table from ICD or OPS codes to MESH terms to perform automatic PubMed queries directly from Care2x. Currently, I am trying to adress this issue programatically, using UMLS concept identifiers http://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/umls/.... How does your system operate ? I tried to check it out. But I could only use the spanish version www.cerebroperiferico.com/medline which I could not test so well, because I do not know spanish language to good... Accessing www.cerebroperiferico.com/medline/index_en.php I am getting following error: "Run time error; line:7; error: waiting for ')'" . After that (denying to debug the error) using the search function, I get the following error: "Run time error; line:238; error: waiting for object". After that PubMed is NOT loaded. I only see the error-messages in german. So the words may not be right.... Anyway, it is not a browser issue. I tried with IE6 and Mozilla1.6. I hope you will find the error in the coding easily.. I am developing a search engine for PubMed. My engine translates terms written in Spanish to English and then queries PubMed. Would you be interested in "PubMed auf Deutsch"? That way, we would be able to connect patient data to PubMed queries. German would be "fairly easy", meaning I could have a test page with 23227 German-to-English "Formal Terms" before the end of the week. You can test what I am doing at: www.cerebroperiferico.com/medline (terms are written in Spanish) www.cerebroperiferico.com/medline/index_en.php (terms are written in English) Kind regards, Daniel -----Mensaje original----- De: Wilfried Goedert [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Enviado el: Sbado, 05 de Junio de 2004 13:07 Para: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Asunto: [Care2002-developers] Indexed Search for Care2x -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: MD5 Hello, is the care2x search function able for indexing and indexed search? It was a question from me one year ago but it was unanswered. Today i did a little hack at care2x.de. I installed pdf2text too. It is now able to react like google and finds inside the binary pdf files the realated text. For a test try http://www.care2x.de/Search.467+M55cc6c92c09.0.html I added one HXP document inside. but i can also index external pages and all their documents and content. As my long years experience it makes no sense to do it with frame pages. As spider i use normaly "larbin". Larbin is able to pic up 1 million pages per day. You can design it only to medical data. Why not to design larbin for inernal hospital related data? The first step will be a indexed search function if care2x have non. Is this a good idea? - -- Mit freundlichen Grssen Wilfried Goedert mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6 iQCVAwUAQMIL17DOY8Ksl5PhAQFB7AP/cf9WQM2F6rNNt5ieKCp/G8/oWeFHvYDR pJldPxBT9hqRqocEGq9LHMPphiIDbX326+q9jKpzIJ+nLm1UYgLFiw/QTG+fkzDj YxxTtJNAvOpLeK3ibmAdthmkl/T25eaaVjajIQi65pqHeU+YiSKNgQ156TJhWMop c+5ccEQKQGc= =Lj5H -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. >From Windows to Linux, servers to mobile, InstallShield X is the one installation-authoring solution that does it all.
