Hallo Nandalal Gunaratne,

If there is no lobby it makes no sense to develope HXP.

As base HL7 is designed to organize as localized internal
communication protocoll. HXP is able to use additional
transcontinental communication. So we can go for both protocolls.
It's often a missinterpretation of HL7 to use it for global aspects.

I discussed it with Dr. Quade, one of the founders of the German
HL7 group. So both protocolls are able to fit the different needs.

End of September i go to Innsbruck (Austria) for an international congress
again. I do there a 2 days poster and multimedia presentation about
Open Source and healthcare. Not special for care2x... but i think i
use Care2x and HXP as example.

I discuss at the moment to make there an open meeting for everyone.
So the German leaders in HL7 and some politicians

Monica Lochner-Fischer, MdL

from Germany and
Europe will be there, to get some information and background for their
former decitions. But in principle everyone will be allowed to join.
The prize to join the congress will be 354.- Euro for the first part
of the congress and 210.- Euro for the second part. I am shure that
some of the readers of this list are in Innsbruck.

I think there are possibilities for contacts at the gala dinner :-)
