Hi, there are dicom files which this viewer version cannot load. Unfortunately, the developers seem to have abandoned the development of this application. We are trying to find java programmers who can fix this.
You can also try to use ImageJ from here. http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/ it is open source and can run as java applet.
