About: EMS PostgreSQL Extract is a powerful, easy-to-use and cross-platform tool for creating database backups in the form of SQL scripts. It allows you to save metadata of all database objects as well as table data. With flexible customization of the extract process, you can select objects and data tables for extraction and tune many other extraction options. PostgreSQL Extract includes a graphical wizard, guiding you through the extract process step by step, and a command-line service for creating backups in one-touch.


Changes: • We have added a help file. • We have improved the compatibility with different Linux versions. Now the program is supposed to work correctly since the redhat 7.0 version to the most modern linuxes. • We have added the possibility to enter a unix-socket instead of the port number like "/tmp/mysql.sock", "/var/lib/pgsql/.s.PGSQL.5435", i.e. to connect to the local server with disabled TCP/IP. • We have implemented an installer. The program is distributed as a sh-script now instead of archives. • And more...
