After a little bit of work I am pleased to announce the availability of Care2XMac - Care2X built specifically for the Mac OS X platform.
Installation manuals, and full auto-installers are now available. I'd like to thank Elpidio for the opportunity to work on this project. I believe Mac OS X to be as powerful as other *nix systems, and the addition of the Care2X application to the OS X environment is great for both worlds.
