As you know, OS X is BSD based. And as was said in my previous message, were ultimate robustness is needed one may use a BSD based OS.


In fact, you can have Care2X up and running in under 5 minutes under OS X... no special configuration necessary.

I am afraid that we are not talking about the same thing.
One thing is to quickly set up Care2x to demonstrate or briefly evaluate it.
A very different thing is to set it up in a clinic or hospital in order to keep it reliably and non-stopping working for years. Properly setting up an Hospital Information System is seldom a "5 minute work".


What matters is the "reliably-set-and-forget" factor, not hardware or software wizardry.
