Hello Elpidio and friends, We are in Delhi and all is fine here. And since we are fine, we are taking it as our responsibility to help the victim in whatever best way we can.
So, with friends and volunteers there in south India (and soon others will be joining from Srilanka, Malaysia, Bangladesh and elsewhere), we have started a campaign to mobilise help and to reach it to the victims oursleves through volunteers. The biggets issue in coming days is going to be that of leakages of the sid reaching people and as we all know from experience, not more than 10% of the Govt. sponsored aid raches victims. Its only the vountarty work that makes the difference. So, through the page : http://humanistmovement.org/tsunami.html we have started organising this. I have taken charge of this coordination from Delhi and others/Humanists from India, Asia, Europe, US, South-america are dpoing there part. Soo, the updated page will show a lot more as we complete the infrastructural aspects of having the people in place at right locations. Anyone can join in this effort and is welcome to do it. Our clear intention is to see that 100% of aid mobilised reaches the victims first hand and in time.
