Hi all,

I have recently come accross care2x and tried the various online demos, and all I can say so far is congratulations to all those invloved in such good work.

I reside in Gibtaltar ( Europe ) and "we" have recently built a new state of the art hospital, bear in mind that Gibraltar( British Colony) is a very small community in the south of Spain.

I am an Engineer and work for the local incumbent PTT and have some experience with Linux though I have not quite developed any serious applications yet, I have some SQL, general DB knowledge and I am willing to learn any new programming skills needed to help in the development of this project.

Going back to the the one and only local hospital, I understand that they have not yet implemented a HIS and I feel that this product could very well suit their needs and that I would be doing a great service to the community by being a part of introducing them to care2x; so I need some help and guidance to install this so that I can also customise the GUI and tailor it to their needs.

P.S. I have various flavours of linux, which do you recommend. And I have also noticed that care2x can use postgreSQL and MySQL which should I go for...
