Hi Almedin,

On your first question: it is important that you understand php well. Care2x uses smarty template system for the gui layout and smarty mimics the php syntax. You can change the colors of the interface too by following this http://www.care2x.org/wiki/index.php/Choosing_colors_for_the_display

On your second question: pls. read this manual http://www.care2x.org/manuals/en_howto_translate.htm

On your question re: hardware infrastructure: please try to contact Emir Prcic you can find his email address from
here http://www.care2x.org/home_credits.php

So, I was install care2x on my comp, and i think that interface is NOT very user-friendly. Also cyan color of main menu cause problems with my eyes (stimulate tears, headache), whan I look at the monitor more than 1 hour. Most of medical personnel use MS Windows at their homes (and most people - Windows is most popular OS at home computers). So, this interface, for them, is the best interface they know to use. Because of that, I purpose to build an Office 2003 Theme (or XP theme) for Care2x! I can do this Design things, but my knowledge of PHP programing is not so good! What you purpose? I am from Bosnia and herzegovina, so I am interested in translating Care2x to Bosnian. I find some translated files on sourceforge.net. But Care2x have some thousand PHP and other files .... so which files I need to translate. Remember that I wanna translate Care2x to Bosnian in 100%. Also I think that login screen must be the first thing what user should see after loading Care2x in browser! After she/he type username/password, browser must show the main screen with main menu and other things - NO main screen and menu before autehentication!!! After authentication, e.g. personnel at pharmacy shouldn't see EDP or Radiology under main menu (or everything that is not in relation to them) !!! Please fix that! Also I think that Camera feature in Care2x is needless, because we have (and other hospitals) dedicated Camera surveillance sistem. This is time lose. I am working in one hospital with laboratories, surgery, emergency, ambulante etc. Our capacity is 170 beds. We didn't have any IS before and we plan to install Care2x HIS in next 9 months (is this too long time period?). Max. number of simultaneous users of Ccare 2x will be less than 150. So I have few questions about that: - Can Care 2x with MySQL/php work on Windows 2003 Web Server Edition at dual - Opteron with 2 GB of RAM (MS specs tells that 2 GB is maximum) and RAID5 with 5 160GB SCSI drives? I know that SQL Server cannot work on Win2003 Web Edition and MS says that any other Database software cannot work on Win2003 Web Edition!! But, is that a marketing or real thing? Is this too small amount of RAM or too small amount of storage? What configuration do you recommand me for this number of simultaneous users and this hospital capacity? (we decide that CT images will not be stored on the server, but in standard archive, like we do before!! All other informations will be stored on the server) - SQL Server 2005 instead MySQl/Postgress is still an option, so can you please tell me is care2x ported to this database platform at 100%?

- if we chose open source (Linux/MySQL/PHP), can Care2x work in terminal mode (diskless clients with LTSP)? Network will be 100 Mbps Ethernet, and server will be connected to switch through 1Gbps ethernet.
Best Regards
