hola, me ocurrio casi lo mismo que a tí.... lo que hice fue instalar phptriad y dpeus copie el contenido de la carpeta care2x en la carpeta htdocs. dpues ejecute install.php que esta en la carpeta install.  y comence la instalacion, dpues quedo funcionando todo ok.

Well first problem setting up CARE2x:

 

I run /install/install.php

Everything seems to run fin, it says it creates the database but when I check WinMySQLadmin v1.4 I can't see any databases, everything it empty.

 

When I try to run Care2x at http://localhost/index.php I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in C:\Program Files\xampp\htcare2x\gui\smarty_template\smarty_care.class.php on line 75

 

So maybe this error is related to the empty database, if not what could the problem be?

 

We'll be trying to adapt care2x to the Peruvian private sector (clinics) and we'll try to program a module that can interface with the insurance companies in order to check medicare availability and payments.
