Hi Lydia,

you dont need to go to Europe. Besides the fact that Europe has a very different health system, there is one installation in Costa Rica. I suggest you contact them at the UNIBE and ask for assistance or collaboration. here is the exerpt from their report:

The UNIBE, a university hospital in Costa Rica, is now running Care2x as its main hospital information system. Florencio Marchelli, the IT manager of the university reported: "/After 2 years of fighting against the old proprietary HIS, we won and Care2X is the new HIS for this place!! It´s very important for us, because we have the 80% of our system with Care2X and we develop a complimentary sub-system using Visual Basic for the administrative task like Billing, Acount Payable and Inventory. We want to thank you for your effort and we will talk with the Local TV stations to let the costarican know about our (You and We) goal./"

You can contact Florencio Marchelli at fmarchelli at unibe.ac.cr

Regards,
Elpidio

Hello Elpidio, I was involved in developer & install care2x from time ago; I'm from México, and collaborate with Latin America developers group mainly from Venezuela & Dominican Republic now I have a client from panama government; is good implementation will begin with to test installation in two hospital and could get until 45 hospitals …..

My problem; In Mexico, in the hospital where was installed care2x and the complements development by me; now the new administrator group suppose to use sap & oracle, I don't have way to show care2x in production; the client want to see care2x in production.

The question is if you have a hospital in Europe to make the show; the Panama government pays the transportation & hotel.

The presentation will be planned at the end of next week (Friday)

Any idea?

please help me

Thanks in advance

Lydia Torres
