Hi, the people at ELCt in Tanzania have thought of ways to speed up the process of entering data and reducing the rists of typos at the same time. It's quite difficult to explain how it works in detail, but very easy to do yourself:
- go to http://health.elct.org/care2x/index.php - go to patient - login - select any of the three comboboxes - go to the last item (or quickly type NOT) - see the window popup that lets you insert a new item This is a very cool way of handling a dropdown box, and quality-wise seems to be an improvement over the current little 'Books' next to textboxes that have a list as source (like 'Ethnic origin' and ;'Insurance Company' Questions: - Is this functionality portable to Main branch? - Can we think of other ways of improving speed of use and data quality (Like fetching values from the server using AJAX) rgds, Reinier Using Tomcat but need to do more?
