For some reason, the db password is not getting saved correctly. If you are using mysql on the local machine, a configuration setting will let you bypass the password. The default setup of MySQL does NOT have a password for the "root" account. As long as you haven't set up a user and password for Care2x, your system would work fine. However, well-secured systems will consistently refuse connections from Care2x because of this.
For those with errors relating to "connection failed blah blah using password: no blah blah" you have a couple of choices: 1) edit includes/inc_init_main.php around line 9 and add your server password manually. 2) Add a password-less user to MySQL (bad bad bad) and... don't do this. Just go with option 1 until the new installer is finished. Have a nice day --Brian Zab ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
