My idea was more in the direction that Sahana, as a disaster system, could
have means to easly communicate with installed hospitals (already existing
or temporary ones). I see that you broaden much more the array of
possibilities but I was thingking on a short version at start :)
Areas could be at the hospital level:
- in patient pre-registering
- OR pre-registering
- Ward and bed availabilty to manage accomodation of disaster affected
persons
- Lab results remote access by local doctors
- People register (i.e. if someone is in an hospital, sahana staff can
know that)
- Speciallity staff and instalations availability (
Other ideas... but I'm not a disaster relief expert so comments from the
Sahana guys and gals would be also great.

3- wards and bed disponibility
4- volunteer, red X, nurses and doctors logistics
5- missing person common archive
6- territory common mapping
7- common middleeware-portable and wireless architecture
think there is more
Hom many places there are so @ risk in the world?
