Giergji - thanks a lot!

I am working from home just from my latop. The development is in my office,
but if you have time next Monday we could chat through skype about that
lab-topic. I just committed some PHP syntax corrections to the repository
just now. Maybe you could check, there was several syntax errors on language
and help files, Some on the modules itself. Nothing critical, just "worse
looking" with low priority. Hope that I fixed all.

Robert :-)

hi robert,

i know of the problem, & i have resolved it in a - quite - stupid way, i
serialize the id of the analysis, i mean a get something like that : a:19 :
{s:6:"_19alb":...wich can be unserialized very easely.
i'm planning to use birt for reporting, so it's not a pblom there.

the part i have used is the mod in the file lang_en_kemlabor, the
subqueryies, the rewritten all the rest..

as for the installer, claudio is going to check it...

Hello Gjergji,

Haven't checked so far... still correcting some syntaxing on help files,
includes and modules. Maybe you could send me the file and I will add it to
the repository. When I remember correctly Claudio is little bit busy now but
comes back soon.

We're actually working again on the laboratory module. After some piloting
time on a hospital in East Africa (ECLT Hospital, name is Selian Town Clinic
in Arusha) we working on the lab module again. What made headache was from
the beginning the way how data are stored to the database. So e.g. the lab
requests are stored to the table "care_test_request_chemlabor", column
parameters. There a PHP function is used called serialize:

_task30_=1&_task25_=1

Meaning of that laboratory task no. 30 and 25 is requested. The results will
be stored to the table "care_test_findings_chemlab" and looks like:

a:2:{i:30;s:2:"20";i:25;s:2:"15";}

Wouw.. but it's working - however - quite stable. Difficulties are just
later, when you e.g. plan to cover reporting tools or interfaces to it.

That is on what I'm working now. It is quite difficult to use the results in
that way and we have started to redesign the way of doing it. So if you plan
to use our laboratory module, you can do it "right out of the box". We are
just now not only working on the read/write layer, we are also creating an
"translation" module what will convert existing data. The new table
structure will be changed that there is no limit anymore to add attributes
even to the results. That is on what we're working now.

Hello Gjergj,

Just checking latest RC2 and found some issue on the installer. You made an
SVN commit but the StripSlashes.php is missing at the repository.
