Hi all,
We are very intrested with this project because it seems to do most of the
things we need and even more. There are things very local of my country for
what we should create modules.
What I like of care2x is that is a project that being active seens year 2002
and that is really good. I has a lot of modules and I asume it must have
success histories and that is why it is translate to taht many languages.
Also it has a good ranking in sourceforge.
The things I don' t like
1) There is not a new release
2) There is not an annoucement (at least I haven't found) for the latest
release date
3) Even when rc2 is release on december 2007, it does not support php5.
Php4 is not offcialy longer supported by php since year 2007[1].
Distributions such as centos 4 or debian etch would still suported for a
couple of year more
4) is to hard to install, but I guess that is beacuase we are still on a rc2

For all this reasons, we are looking for other software libre alternatives
to care2x. That doesn't mean we won't use care2x, just we have to take a
look around.
