I do not see an another way because the version on the sf.net svn is Ver.2.05.4.1 beta (shown in the main menu what is available at the svn of sf.net) - and that is the latest one from what we know. Otherwise it is quite difficult to support you at your challenge. There is now the reasonable suspicion from me that you are working on a complete different/own branch. (I suppose a quite old branch and someone just put a arbitrary version number to it) About ubuntu 9.10/10.4 (PHP 5.3): Mostly it is not a good way to make a operating system fitting to an application than other way round.
