Hi Mellanie,

Caret just thresholds on whatever value is stored in the brik set as the Thresh bucket in the D/C: Metric: Selection menu. For AFNI users, the View and Thresh often should be set to distinct BRIKs. Caret doesn't transform this value based on the brik type the way AFNI does.

I don't know how to suppress a poster's email address from the archives. It does present it with an " at " instead of "@", but I realize this is easily filtered by spammers. If anyone on the list knows how to do this with a mailman list, let me know.

Hi Mellanie,

A positive threshold of 2.0 in caret should only display values of 2.0 and greater. Do you have a "none" color in your color palette ? Are you using the same color palette in Caret and AFNI ? Are you viewing a surface or a volume in Caret ?

Hi Donna,

I heard that you met one of my colleagues at a recent conference. It is
unfortunate that I also did not attend so that we could have met in person.

The following question has been previously asked, but I am wondering whether
you have any more insight on the topic. Namely, does the value of the
threshold in Caret correspond to the statistic in AFNI. That is, if t-values were imported into Caret, does that mean that setting the threshold at 2.0 corresponds to a t-value of 2.0? If this is true, then why does setting the threshold at 2.0 in Caret eliminate many of the activations that are still
present at a t-value of 2.0 in AFNI?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, how do I modify my subscription information such that my e-mail address does not appear on the archive of questions posted to the list. I would prefer
if my name appeared, but not my e-mail address.

Thank you,

Mellanie
