Hi Ashley,
Are you mapping group functional data onto the PALS atlas or individual
data onto a surface reconstruction of that individual's hemisphere? The
former is covered in this tutorial:

Either way, thresholding for both metric (the mapped node-scalar output)
and functional volumes is controlled by the Metric menu on the Display
Control menu. The threshold operates on actual values and isn't
converted to p-values in any way; you need to figure out what the
corresponding stat needs to be, based on your statistic type and degrees
of freedom (i.e., look it up in a table or calculate it).
