There is an "Atlas of the Human Brain" by Mai, Assheuer, Paxinos which is quite good in this respect, and you could probably find it at the library.

Hi All,

Could anyone recommend a textbook/paper or website that does an exceptional job at comparing true anatomy of a brain with its own MRI volume data and its segmentation? Many of the textbooks I've seen don't compare a photo of the brain tissue with the exact same MRI volume. Is it feasible to get some hands-on experience in this this high resolution MRI vs real-anatomy part of the field?
Thanks for your input!

Joseph
