Hi Patrick, It doesn't look like caret_command currently supports the metric to RGB_paint feature. I did caret_command -help-full > /tmp/caret_command.txt and then searched the resulting file for rgb (case-insensitive). I couldn't find it.
Normally, adding something like this is quick and easy for John, but several people have requested non-trivial enhancements within the last couple of week (myself being among the guilty parties). I don't know how it will play out in the priority shuffle, but my guess is somewhere after David's requests.
