Hi Arkadeb,
If the fMRI has been co-registered to the anatomical volume, as you say
(or at least infer) below, then try this:
1. Load the fiducial surface in Caret.
2. Load the anatomical to which the fMRI is co-registered using File:
Open Data File: Volume Anatomy file.
3. Ensure alignment of fiducial to anatomical using D/C: Volume Surface
Outline -- toggle on the fiducial surface. The surface should run
roughly along the cortical midthickness. If the
scale/rotation/translation is off, this problem must be resolved first.
4. Load the functional using File: Open Data File: Volume Functional file.
5. Ensure alignment of functional to anatomical using D/C:
Overlay/Underlay and toggle on functional as primary overlay. Make sure
there is no misalignment between functional and anatomical.
6. Attributes: Map volume to Surface: Metric
Add loaded volumes
Map to caret
The rest is pretty much like the tutorial.
Often there is trouble at steps 3 or 5. I've got my fingers crossed you
have no trouble.
