Dear Caret users,
I encountered the following error while trying to run a segmentation using
my own data:
caret5(609,0xa0258500) malloc: *** mmap(size=265908224) failed (error
code=12)
*** error: can't allocate region
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
OUT OF MEMORY
This means that Caret is unable to get memory that it needs.
Possible causes:
(1) Your computer lacks sufficient RAM.
(2) Swap space is too small (you might increase it).
(3) Your computer may be using an non-English character
set. Try switching to the English character set.
I have 2 Gb RAM and 140 Gb free disk space and I am not really sure how much
more do I need for a segmentation run.
Can you give me some advice?
