Hi Yan,

This is why we prefer people use NIFTI volumes, rather than old Analyze
.hdr/.img pairs.  The latter do not specify orientation, which in the case
of SPM2 volumes depends on one of your settings.  It sounds like your
setting wrote volumes right-on-left, rather than left-on-left, which is
what Caret assumes.  There are a couple of work-arounds:

* Write your volume out as NIFTI and map the NIFTI volume (recommended).

* Use File: Open Data File: Volume Functional File and indicate that the
volume is right-on-left.

Then, instead of mapping volume from disk, map volume from Caret (or
loaded volume).
