Hi, Donna
Thank you very much for the information. I
figured out how to register the paint volume with the anatomical volume
used to generate fiducial surface through an older post and it works
now. However, I have another question that is somewhat related to the
previous one. As my cortical parcellation (paint volume) is derived
based on the *gray matter/white matter interface mask*, I find that if I
project the paint volume to the surface, no paint will show on the
surface, as they do not intersect ( I assume that the fiducial surface
is generated based on the surface that is more distant to the
gray-matter/white-matter interface than my paint volume). I then dilated my
cortical parcellation using FSL so that it contains the volume in
gray matter too and projected it again. This time, it worked. However, probably
due to the over dilation, the paint
projected onto the fiducial surface looks quite strange.  So, my
question is: is there any way that I can change the fiducial surface so
that it can be closer/more distant to the GM/WM interface without
segmenting it again, so that the fiducial surface will intersect with my
cortical parcellation without the need for dilation process? Is there
any other solution, in your opinion, will solve this issue?

Thank you!Leon
