This is something that is easier to do with Caret Workbench (wb_view) than with 
caret5, I think, but switching would likely require some file conversion and a 
learning curve.

I've never displayed both inflated hemispheres in a single caret session, but 
it would not surprise me if it is possible.

One issue that could arise is if both inflated hemispheres have their origin 
set to the center of gravity (for easy rotating), as caret inflated surfaces 
often do.  This might present issues when tryiing to display both.  It is 
possible to translate surfaces using caret_command or caret5's Window: 
Transformation tool.  I'm not even sure that would be necessary, or that it 
would help, but those are the only hints I have right now.
