Sorry, this part of the build is unfortunately currently under major
revision... which versions are you using?

If you are using CVS, check the script "./configure.withdefaults.sh"

We are moving towards libmysequoia.so -> libcarob.a as the
main/default option. Carob will be more like a "sub" directory of
libmysequoia than a full package.
