Il s'agit, comme mentionné en anglais ci-dessous de la synthèse viavoice d'IBM, donc quasiment similaire à Eloquence de scansoft acompagnée de plusieurs drivers pour l'intégrer soit dans speech-dispatcher, soit dans emacspeak, soit dans gnome-speech ou même dans LSR avec le module pyibmtts. Le site permettant de la commander est réellement simple d'utilisation, et l'installation sur ubuntu se fait sans problème. Elle se fait également sans problème sur une debian etch. Apparamment, il n'y a pas de package prévu pour les autres distribs, mais je suppose qu'en bricolant un peu, on peut arriver quand même à tout installer, mais il faudra compiler les driver pour speech-dispatcher ou gnome-speech à partir des sources. Je l'utilise depuis une dizaine de jours, et c'est un vrai régal. A la fois réactive, bien compréhensible etc. En tout cas, ceux qui ont comme moi utilisé jaws pendand des années seront content de se retrouver avec la même chose sous Linux. J'espère que je n'ai pas fait une bêtise en parlant de voxin sur la liste, mais je ne pouvais pas laisser des gens acheter quelque chose à 40 dollars, alors que la même chose est dispo pour 4 euros et quelques. Ceci dit, il semble qu'il s'agisse d'un tarifs qui est spécifique seulement à certains pays d'europe, d'où l'annonce ci-dessous qui doit être l'équivalent pour les états unis.
