Well, you seem to have overlooked the error message ("Error: No data
read") it prints before asking for the keypress. The reason is probably
that this message is printed at the cursor position when invoking
netrik, while the keypress request is always at the bottom of the
screen... I guess I should try to fix that.

Yes, I found the bug now. Thanks for pointing it out!

The problem is that HTTP header field names are case-insensitive, but
netrik was treating them case-sensitively. The site returns a
"location:" header (for the redirect to
http://www.blinuxman.net/index2.php), but netrik was only looking for
"Location:" (with capital letter).

I fixed this bug in the CVS version now. I'll probably make a new
release soon, though it may take a while till it gets into Ubuntu...

The reason why I hadn't found this bug before is that there are other
situations in which netrik shows only a blank page (non-standard
redirects, framesets without alternate content), so whenever I saw this,
I assumed it is one of the known problems...

Nah, that's quite a bit of an overstatement :-) The problem only shows
with very few sites...

This sounds as if you were using it for the first time... Only that you
talked to me about netrik already several years ago -- have you
completely forgotten that?... :-)

You shouldn't expect too much though. While there is a considerable
number of improvements, I haven't worked on it really much over the last
couple of years. If you didn't find it good enough back then, you
probably won't find it good enough still...

BTW, one of the things we discussed back than was "flash key" support.
At some point between the first time you contacted me and the second
time, I implemented the --cursor-keys option, which should make it work.
Have you ever checked this? Could you do so now please?...
