Ciao, How does it compare with a pure mapserver/mapscript map generation ? Is mapserver also "slow" ? But if you really have more than 600 entries in your layers.ini, it's no surprise Cartoweb is becoming slow... Try to limit the number of layers in the layers.ini to 100-200...

Every layer has a structure name like the following one : District_XX_Layer_YY so I get 40x15 layers in the .map .Only for 15 districts, I've to wait for 8 secs on loading the page.
