Thx...I fixed it by just upgrading my linux os to FC 5. I did update using yum for FC 2 and the gcc compiler stayed at 3.3 or something like that. But newest gcc is 4. I guess the gcc version was the problem. I did same step on FC 5 as I did on FC 2 and I get results. Thanks!

Did you do "make install", and is the dijkstra.so file appearing in your postgresql lib directory? On my system, postgres is installed in /usr/lib/postgresql/8.1, so dijkstra.so appears in /usr/lib/postgresql/8.1/lib/dijkstra.so > PS. Apologies on the reply....Just hit reply without checking.
