I have the following questions and would like to get your opinion: The map I am busy building will cater for a country but will allow you to zoom in to the cities up to street level.
I am planning to have most data in postgresql db, at least the searchable data that needs to be maintained. I was thinking of having 1 Database with various tables. Country Database Points tabe Lines lable Is this wise?? Then the suggested layers / legend to be as follows: * Tourism * Accommodation * Backpacker hostels * Bed & Breakfast * Campsites * Guest Farms * Guest houses * Hotels * Lodges * Rest Camps * Self Catering * Tourist Information centers * Tourist Attractions * Car Rental * Restaurants * Hydrology * Rivers * Dams * Transport * Roads * Railways * Parking * Fuel Stations * Vehicle repair * Features * Airports * Banking * Education * Medical * Civil * Nature Reserves & Parks Any suggestions or comments will be welcomed!
