As an update, I can get the map to display with rotation by adding a projection keyword to each and every layer. The problem now seems to be that the tools do not work properly. For example, the pan tool does not pan in the direction it should intuitively, but in the direction it would if the map were not rotated.... Is there a way to implement rotation within cartoweb?

Can the rotation angle of the MAP be set? mapserver suggests that this can be set in the mapfile, but if I put an ANGLE attribute in the MAP section (at the top where name and extent is set etc) the map simply does not display. It is fairly important that I can do this... the users for this map are used to a certain map orientation that is not the standard 'north to top'.
