My gratitude is unlimited! I am now removing $ signs here and there and
my errors are dissapearing like snow under the sun!!!
I can indeed not move from 3.3 to 3.4, I have tried to, but all kind of
functionality started falling down. This is for the time being the best
sollution for me.
One more question: Is Emmanuel better allready? He promised me a pricing
quote on some custom support and I would like to get more information still.

replace

by

but there are several other code touch up like that which were needed
because of php 5.2
If using CW3.4 is not an option, you will have to look at the lines
returned by the error message and compare the code of 3.3 and 3.4.

I have a demo project running at:

Please take a look at the fancy interface...
It is running Cartoweb3.3 on IIS and php 5.2, there is one problem
left. There are issues with the debug and logger strings; they are
sometimes converted from object. In php 5.1.x, this was no issue,
php simply returned the text object; but in php 5.2 an error is
raised.
The error can be achieved by going to the demo site and simply
requesting a query by drawing a rectangle on the map or pointing
at an object on the map.
Can anyone please try it? debug is on, so the error message will
be displayed.
