okay, so if you didnt modify anything in Cartoweb, I would say something is
screwed in your webserver, maybe the apache configuration or so.
do you have the same problem when you access the application localy directly on
the server ?

mmm, your application behave quite strangly.
what did you modify to have the ?mode=image open in a new windows ? because
this seems to be the source of the problem
on a side note, the exportPdf seems to have the same kind of weird behaviour
and a ?reset_session break your map/keymap
