Hi Maybe you should review your layers.ini be sure you specified a .msLayer with a correct layer name or, if you havent set the .msLayer, be sure the layer id in the layers.ini is the same as the layer name in the mapfile see http://www.cartoweb.org/doc/cw3.4/xhtml/user.layers.html for documentation and http://www.cartoweb.org/cwiki/HowToCreateALayerTree for tutorial.
