internet in one way or another, I dont really see what can be done

Yes, this could be indeed. I'm connecting via a proxy. If I
disable it, I can't connect to internet.
I tried to put the adresses of my wms url's in the "url that
don't use proxy" but it doesn't change anything.
Can I do something for that?
Thanks.

hi
the plugin try to
access the wms server
url with these
parameters added:
&SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetCapabilities&VERSION=1.1.1
if the answer is not
valid, you get the
"Can't get server
capabilities" error
message is displayed
you can easily try
manualy to type that
request in a browser
and see if the server
answer with some valid
GetCapabilities answer
regards
Oliver
